Clothing in Bermuda

Our TA told us that people in Bermuda dress more conservitive. Just wondering what people wear in the summer months to Bermuda. I am thinking a shortsleeve t-shirt and a pair of capris. But I would love to get away with shorts and a shirt. ANy ideas? I am 15.

Shorts and t-shirts are fine & many tourists wear them. I think that what is meant by conservative would be anything that is not too revealing (i.e. you probably wouldn't want to wear really short shorts, lots of midriff showing, etc.) . It will be hot, so you will want to be comfortable.

Thanks. Thats what I was thinking too. Good thing I dont usually wear really short shorts. That could be a problem for some teenagers:)

T-shirt and capris are fine. Some restaurants have dress codes so check ahead if there is a specific place you're going to eat at.

 

Bathings suits are okay to wear at the beach/pool but you should cover up more before walking around off the beach.

The Bermuda-length short(just-above knee) is coming back into fashion for women. I recently purchased a few pair. Those along with capris should be ok.
