Drink in a coconut?

Do they serve drinks in a coconut at Nachi Cocom?? I'm talking about a drink in a coconut, not coconut flavored drinks. Cozumel is our last stop so if they don't serve them there, I want to make sure to get one at a previous port. We go to Grand Cayman, Belize, and Isla Roatan as well. Where should I be sure to make some time to stop and buy one?

Also, are these usually alcoholic or virgin, or can you order them either way? Hubby and I drink on occasion, but my mom does not and wants a coconut drink as well.

Lastly, is it possible to take the coconut back on the ship and save the it as a souvenir, or do they go bad and need thrown out?

I can't answer your question about where to get a drink in a coconut, but I would imagine that you can order the drink to be non-alcoholic. And, no, I doubt you would be allowed to bring it on the ship - yes it can go bad and also, you probably cannot bring it back into the US because it is a fruit.

cocoNUT

I think you can bring the nut in, not the full coconut in the husk.

I thought that was the case, just had to check, thanks!

You could always get a cute Monkeyhead on board :)

I guess I don't know what a monkeyhead is?
