Eclipse Itinerary

Hello all!

We're just back from our April 3-10 sailing on Solstice in a Concierge Level 1 stateroom ( which was fabulous! ) and of course are looking at booking for next year! Right now, we're considering the Eclipse which I know is a 'sister' ship to the Solstice what with both being Solstice Class ships. My question is in regards to the itinerary of the Eclipse......We have been to St. Maarten and San Juan however I am curious as to what others feel about St. Kitts as we've never been......How are the beaches, snorkeling, shopping, etc.?

Thanks so much!

Soleil:)

There are many shops just as you get off the ship at the port which you can walk to, lots of jewelry, hats, tee shirts and beach towels. Also a few places to eat or get a beer or other adult beverage.

We spent our day touring with Ilva Wallace. One of our stops was Cockshell Beach which was beautiful. We are not snorkelers, so I cannot answer that question. Be certain to stop at Brimstone Fort, go up to the top and witness a breathtaking view.

Happy sailing on Eclipse, we loved her!

If you are particularly in to snorkeling or diving then I'd recommend one of the Western Caribbean itineraries instead. Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Roatan all have great diving and snorkeling opportunities. For '12 these are only on Solstice though, per my initial investigations.
