Does the Carnival Dream have a sauna vs steam rooms

In the spa is there a sauna? Or are only steam rooms available.

By sauna I mean the wood lined type rooms which have dry heat. Steam rooms are just that, they have steam.

People sometimes lump both types as a "steam room"

I was on the dream last may. Theres a small steam room in the mens lockerroom and a coed sauna in the rear hallway between the mens and womens lockerrooms.

I'll add that you don't need to pay for a spa membership to use either the coed dry sauna or the steamroom in the locker rooms. They are available to the general public.

Thanks everyone. You answered my question. If you couldn't tell, I like saunas vs steam rooms. Just trying to decide if buying the spa membership is needed for what I like.

If you like the dry sauna, the spa membership is absolutely not necessary. In fact, the "member's only" portion of the spa doesn't have its own dry sauna...there's a moist aromatherapy room, a steam room, and a dry heated ceramic lounger room which doesn't approach the temperature of a dry sauna.
