Assigned tender times?

I have been told that if you book an excursion with the cruise line, you get to tender in before all those who didn't. I was considering booking a snorkel tour in Grand Cayman with a private tour guide, but am worried we would not be able to get tendered in on time? Advice?

I never had a problem with tendering in. Make your time half hour later- you will be able to breeze off. The tenders hold a lot of people.

Also- private vendors are aware you are tendered in and will wait for you.
