cruising out of NY Oct. 29th....

I never crusied out of NY this time of year? I'm sure its not pool weather, but are the pools even open the first day or two at sea? the water is probably chilly, but i'm sure it wouldn't stop a lot of people from swimming!

Hi, I was thinking the same thing about the weather in November! The three of us are taking our big birthday cruise, all clasmates. NCL Jewel to Florida and Bahamas!:o

Pools were opened in Feb. when we cruised out of NYC on the Dawn. Too cold for me but the kids loved it and we all went in the hot tub. By the second sea day the weather was gorgeous.

Sailed on Jewel in December... the pools were open and so were the hot tubs. A few brave souls were in the tubs and must have froze when they got out...
