Biking in Denali?

In the dozens of trips I've made along the park road I've never seen a bike. The heavy bus traffic and resulting dust would make it a nasty trip. The park regs that say you have to stop when being approached by a bus would mean that you could probably walk faster.

If you make it to Seward,we have bike rentals and a very nice day ride would be out to Exit Glacier.About 14 miles 1 way from Seward. You'll have to walk to the glacier itself once your in the park but the road to it has a nice paved shoulder and it ends at the park entrance so traffic is limited. When I 1st moved here there was a couple with 2 small kids in tow that rode their bikes all the way from Fairbanks and was going to ride them back home too. That's 500 miles up and down just going 1 way!All I could say was WOW!
