Weather end of August

We will be sailing from NY on the Caribbean Princess and wonder about the weather in Halifax and St John at that time of year. We don,t want to pack too much warmer clothes if we don,t have to.

We would like to be able to enjoy our balcony and the pools on board.

Any help from people taking cruises to Canada and N England at this time of year would be appreciated.

We will be in Halifax on August 21st

I use Weather Underground to look up historical averages for the ports of call we are visiting Keep in mind that as we all know often there is a swing of temperature from not only year over year, but all day to day.
