Internet Question

Recommended Posts

I will be on the Sea this summer and wanted to check my email a couple of times. I have AOL. Has anyone had problems checking their email through the ships computers on AOL? Thanks.

My advice, though I know it isn't exactly what you were looking for, is to look for an internet cafe when on shore as the cost is quite a bit cheaper than on the ship. When in Cancun last Jan we payed $1 for 10 min. and it was around the same in our other ports.

How does is cost on the ship to connect online?

$0.75 per minute

Time Package Plan:

250 minutes for $100 ($0.40 per minute)

100 minutes for $55 ($0.55 per minute)

There are discounts and specials but those are the rates. If you plan to do a lot bring a laptop with a WiFi card. You can download mail and read off line. You can compose off line cut past and send. No sense paying 40-75 cents a minute to read or type.
