STEELERETTE Posted June 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2011 Hi! We will be in Belize at the end of June. We will be traveling with four teens. Two boys ages 17 and 18 and two girls ages 14 and 15. We would like to do something exciting and are thinking that cave tubing is probably are best option. I have read several reviews and would like to know if this is a good idea and if so who should we book with. I don't think the kids would want to be tied together, especially the boys. It sounds like some of the tours go through two caves and also float down the river. We are not interested in anything educational. We would appreciate and suggestions. Thanks! serene56 Posted June 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2011 The tying together is for a safety precaution to keep the group together- Once out of the caves you can float off on your own. Something to consider- its a hike to get from the bus to the water- carrying the tubes.
