Location of pier

Just trying to get an idea of where the cruise ships are. I'm familiar with the Aquarium/IMAX. Is the pier at that end of Riverwalk?

Other end of Riverwalk. Pier begins about Julia street and the river.

The pier is down by the Crescent City Connection bridge. You can find some info on the port of NO website including webcams and maps: http://www.portno.com/default.asp

Is Julia St. and Henderson St. the only roads to cross between or over the huge convention center??? Too bad people can't just cut through it. Thanks. :)

Bump...Does anyone have experience cutting through the convention center or know where to cross over it??? Looking for shortest route from Poydras St.! Thanks. :)

If you are driving or having someone drop you off, the only access is from Henderson St at the far end of the Convention Center Bldg. You must drive down Henderson St toward the river and follow the traffic. If you are walking from a hotel on Poydras St to the port you can walk down Julia St at the beginning of the Convention Center Bldg. Check the www.portno.com website or a map of the area from Yahoo, Mapquest, etc.
