Purified Water on VOS

Purified Water

 

Does anyone know if the water aboard the Voyager of the Seas is purified. I am wondering if the water that you get from the machines in the restaurants is indeed purified. Just checking for the interest of small children.

Just saw a program on the Voyager on the Travel Channel yesterday and they have 2 desalination plants on board that purify the water 100% for the entire ship.

Actually all modern cruise ships have desalination plants that produce the drinking and bathing water that is used on the ship. This water is just as pure as bottled water so there is no reason to pack or buy bottled water to bring back to the ship. You might want to bring a couple of bottles and then refill them at the tap in your cabin and put them in your refrigerator for shore excursions.
