Which Is Better?

Hoping to chose between the following itineraries:

 

Option 1:

Southhampton, England

Bergen, Norway;

Olden, Norway;

Hellesylt, Norway;

Geiranger, Norway;

Alesund, Norway;

Akureyri, Iceland;

Reykjavik, Iceland;

Southhampton, England

 

 

Option 2:

Harwich, England; Bergen, Norway;

Flam, Norway;

Geiranger, Norway;

Lerwick,

Shetland Islands, Scotland;

Klaksvik;

Reykjavik, Iceland;

Harwich, England

 

Option 3:

Southampton, England; Reykjavik, Iceland;

Akureyri, Iceland;

Klaksvik;

Geiranger, Norway;

Olden, Norway;

Flam, Norway;

Bergen, Norway;

Southampton, England

 

Which ports are MUST SEE's? Thanks for your help!!!

Personally, I'd go for a route with both Geiranger and Flam in it as they are both long trips down fjords, so very scenic. That gives us option 2 and 3. From your point of view (coming from the US) the trip to Harwich is far more of a pain than the relatively easy trip to Southampton (whether you fly into LHR or LGW). Of course, if you plan to stop in London for a day or two, its not so bad getting to Harwich as you would have to go through London anyway, and it just makes London a natural stopover point. So, if stopping in London, option 2 or 3; if not, I'd go for option 3.
