Anyone ever get rained out?

It rained during our excursion in the Caymans last Thursday. The stingrays didn't seem bothered!

Last year on our Victory cruise, it rained so hard in Barbados that they closed the gangway to get off the ship. We had an excursion booked(thank goodness through Carnival), and we were refunded our money. It bummed out DH, because one of the reasons for the itinerary was to go to Barbados. Oh well, we'll just have to book another cruise, and hopefully this time get to leave the ship.

 

Eventually, they did open the gangway back up, only it was too late to do anything in port. The returning passengers that did go ashore earlier in the day looked less than thrilled, totally soaked!
