Ruby Princess Grand Med with teens?

We are going to take our kids on a Med Cruise next summer and are trying to choose the best ship and itinerary. Our kids will be 20, 18, 16 and 13. We absolutely love the Grand Med Itinerary but our only experience with Princess was the Golden Princess in 2004 (just DH and I on our 15th anniversary) and although we had a great time at the ports of call we thought the evening entertainment was horrible and the dining room food not much better. Our family really enjoys eating dinner together in the dining room and seeing the evening shows together. We are really hesitant to book another Princess Cruise and are contemplating the Celebrity Silhouette instead. Any suggestions?

You all will be so tired you won't care if there's entertainment or not! We recently returned from the Grand Mediterranean on the Ruby. We took our 17 year old granddaughter with us. Every evening other than the two sea days she went to sleep right after dinner. She had less stamina than her 70 something grandparents. And she's used to walking a lot in San Francisco! The food was really good! Best we've ever had on a Princess Cruise - It was an incredible cruise!

I agree - we are just back from the Grand Med on Ruby...they will be exhausted if you do all the ruins, etc. Ruby has a couple of nice deck parties, etc. that would be fine for teens, too.

we are doing our 2nd family Med cruise next year..on the Ruby..with 4 kids..age 22, 18, 16, 11...they had a fabulous time when we did the cruise 4 years ago and are salivating for next year's cruise as well.....and the itin is fabulous!!!
