The picture on the big screen hasn't changed all day, so I think the webcam is frozen.

Due to satellite issues, the webcam hasn't been updated since 830 this morning.

Since the satellite is unable to pick up a current webcam feed, maybe the satellite can't locate it on a map either. Who knows.....

A hurricane hunter is supposed to fly through the disturbance today. Approx 40% chance of tropical development. It's barely moving at present so they don't have a projected track on it.

Just a guess based on all the various information out there. With the disturbance so close to Nassau they probably made some adjustments. It looks like they may have reversed the itinerary this week and headed south to St Maarten first to give that weather a chance to move out.

 

The disturbance is just N or Nassau at this point. Hitting the southern portion first would make sense. Not sure that they could have hit St Maarten in time today based on the very late start last night.

 

BUT - I could be way of base too :)
