[We're booked on the Avalon Felicity for next May.. with an after cruise stay in Lucerne ... How does on e get from the dock in Basel to the Swiss rail station?

The ship's staff can make arrangements for you. I believe they will call a taxi. I don't recall the cost. Perhaps others on this board can provide that information.

If you have book air with Avalon, then transfers are included; otherwise have your travel agent purchase transfers for you. It's worth the 30-50 dollars since the staff will know exactly where the boat is docked, whereas a taxi may not unless specifically informed by staff
