joymick Posted July 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2011 We were not happy with the change from Libya to Turkey although we appreciate the reasons. We contacted P&O to try to cancel/change but all they would offer as a gesture of "goodwill" was that we purchase another more expensive cruise with a £100 admin fee. We would have been happy to purchase another cruise but not a more expensive one or with an admin fee. We are also concerned about the unrest in both Cairo and Athens and feel we should have been given the chance to cancel in view of the exceptional circumstances in this area of the world. P&O disagree. ABTA cannot help. We feel this is very poor public relations by P&O and have lost confidence in them. We will not be booking with P&O again. I can see their point though given they are a business. Otherwise they would end up with empty ships. Their terms allow them to make changes to the itiniary.
