akuperman Posted July 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2011 We are considering going on this cruise...is anyone concerned with the fact that it is end of July and so far, it seems to me that almost the entire ship's cabins are still available. There just seems to be an abundance of availability in all cabin categories. Is there a specific reason for that? Nov 7, 16 and 18 sailings on Celebrity are pretty much all booked (at least inside and oceanview). I love the ports and the fact that this cruise starts in Istanbul and proceeds to Lisbon but for some reasons I am not sold on booking it yet. Am I just paranoid about nothing? I just don't want to be left disappointed. Any thoughts? This will be our 12th cruise but 1st in Europe. Would anyone else be discouraged that the ship is not selling well on this itenary? RCL reduced the price significantly and it looks like a great deal but as everyone knows you get what you pay for so...
eh2zed Posted July 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2011 You may wish to go to your cruise Roll Call. People on your specific cruise hang out there. Roll Call is a separate forum here on Cruise Critic. Just keep following the menus until you get to your cruise.
aquilegia Posted July 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Well, I don't know the usual takeup for Med cruises in November, but a lot of people enjoy the warm, sunny weather in the Med and it will definitely have cooled down by November. Dayenu Posted July 26, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Maybe most of the cabins are sold as "guarantee" - everybody hopes for update? So they are waiting if other passengers want an assigned cabin?
