bxh165 Posted August 11, 2011 #51 Share Posted August 11, 2011 Well I just checked on line, and the difference only ending up be ing $80.00 total. Don<t know how they arrived at that total, but it is so difficult to explain this to the front line. They don`t seem to have any info on it. I was told that I would be getting $150 cash a while back, I said you told me that last year and I didn`t get it. He said if that happends this year have the casino host call. Mike is the guy I was talking to. I`ll accept the 80 better than nothing.

chihuahuamama Posted August 14, 2011 #53 Share Posted August 14, 2011 I just checked Carnival's website for my Feb. 19th Magic cruise and also saw the Player's Club offer. Submitted an Early Saver price adjustment form and should get $80 onboard credit. The funny thing is, the offer was there before I went and ate dinner tonight and when I returned about an hour later, it no longer was????

This weekend, I was at my friend's house (she cruises and gambles with me :D) so I had her log in on her computer. They show up for her, too! pattimelt Posted August 15, 2011 #55 Share Posted August 15, 2011 I got the "card" in the mail.. I originally got one in May(?) that offered me 25% off the cruise and $100 in casino cash if I booked before the end of July. No sooner did I book my cruise and use that discount, I got a new card offering me $75 in casino cash and 25% off a room.. Now, if I log into the Carnival website, I am seeing the casino vip offer, which is the same discounted rate that I was given when I spoke to the PVP on the casino reservations phone number. If only I wanted to book another cruise.. I wonder if I can use the casino cash on a pack-n-go and skip the discount?? I think I might need a cruise to get ready for my other cruise... LOL I used my 25% off (notice the fine print says UP to 25%-mine was about 10%) for my Nov. 14th Magic cruise, but I used my $100 casino cash on the Fantasy cruise I took in May. About 6 weeks later the past guest rate for my Magic cruise dropped below what I had paid for the Players Club rate. I called and had my rate adjusted to the Past Guest rate.
