Aft D-1 Cabins Larger Than Other D-1s?

We have a D-1 aft cabin on the FOS on 8/27/06. Obviously the balconies are larger. Are the cabins a little larger than other D-1's as well? I have heard some speculation that they are. Perhaps related to the door needed for adjoining rooms? Thanks!

Don't know about on the FOS, but on the Radiance class the rooms are no bigger, but the balcony is deeper than the others.

Will find out this weekend! We were lucky enough to get the 6th deck, middle aft cabin on the Splendour! Not that we are excited or anything!

Let me amend that last post. The side aft cabins are larger and I believe they are still classed D-1.

pink: your correction is correct :) but only two cabins fit the correct description. Those two cabins are 1388 & 1688.
