Wine Package Gratuity Question

How is the gratuity distributed to the waitstaff?

 

I've gotten so many different answers. Some say the person that sells the package gets it and others say the individual who delivers the wine gets the gratuity.

 

I've even been told - no one gets any. :confused: Does anyone know the real answer to this question?

Does it really matter? You pay it...they take care of it. Technically, it should be given to those who serve you, but who knows? Their rules...not ours!

Gratuities are pooled and distributed among the waitstaff. We try to have some cash handy in case there is someone we want to tip directly.
