Hike & River raft in Talkeetna?

We did the river raft in Talkeetna.....it was very nice, very easy (the crew does all the work), so definitely appropriate for children. Our day was VERY rainy, but they do provide adequate rain gear, so even in the worst of weather (which I would categorize our day), you stay dry and warm, and still have opportunity to see wildlife.....it's a relaxing trip, not what I would consider an "adventure", but very beautiful scenery!

We did a 5 mile hike with Alaska Nature Guides. It was awesome because Mt McKinley was out in all her glory. Our guide Stephanie was just great. There were 12 of us and they provided a lunch of pasta salad and lots of snacks and fruit to go with it. Im not sure i would want to do it in the rain!
