Wow! Are you sure about that, "jobythe bay?" Can you check your Patters, if you kept them?

 

Those are very different from the hours that we experienced on Ruby Princess in 2009 (which were nearly the same hours that we read in April, 2011, Patters from the Crown Princess that were posted on this forum). The surprises (the second of which we hope is a mistake) are two:

 

}}} You are showing the buffet breakfast to be served BOTH in Horizon Court and in Cafe Caribe (furthest aft part of the deck) -- even though it was previously served only in Horizon Court. We see an advantage in its being available in both places.

 

}}} You are showing the dinner buffet to be served in Horizon Court, but NOT in Cafe Caribe -- even though it was previously served ONLY in Cafe Caribe! We would be VERY disappointed if dinner were no longer served in Cafe Caribe, because of the layout of the serving and dining areas. We can't help but think that you are mistaken, because you are saying that Cafe Caribe is now closed for almost fourteen hours straight (9:30 AM to 11:00 PM)!

 

These matters are very important to us, because we will soon be aboard the Emerald Princess. Thank you so much for your past and future replies.

we cruised on the Emerald this July and found that at breakfast Cafe Caribe was sometimes open, sometimes not, at least one side of Horizon always open.

We opted not to do formal nights - didn't want the excess baggage and both formal night dinners were in Cafe Caribe, Horizon closed.

 

We discovered we preferred the food (often different selections) and servers in the Cafe C section, so we made it a habit to check whenever we went "just in case".
