familycruzr Posted September 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2011 Have you stayed on the upper deck of the Liberty? Was there a noise problem from the promenade deck below?
Donna - dsw Posted September 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2011 I don't know - but I have upper deck on the new Carnival Breeze and would like to know the same - I would think the noise level would be the same on any ship
serene56 Posted September 2, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2011 it depends on what is EXACTLY under you. There is a lot of areas that will get you noise. Being under any stage area of any of the lounges-noise. piano bar--will be loud til the wee hours of the morrning depending how good the player is- there is a band that sets up across from the casino bar- this band starts playing at 9pm until the wee hours. the casino should give you no noise--but the sports bar is located here-- BIG sports night will gt you noise the show lounge-- dancers practice after midnight. You have to look to see what is below you. On the upper deck is category 8A and 8B- you can find cat 8B on the empress deck---away from public areas. MissKIA Posted September 2, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 2, 2011 Look at the ship layouts and you should be able to tell what will be below you. We did this when we picked our room. We are staying in room 6269 and it looks like below us is the shops so I'm hoping we will be ok!
