NavarreCruiser Posted September 19, 2012 #76 Share Posted September 19, 2012 Carnival will make a great coo if they can get Guy. They already have him.

djwood24 Posted September 19, 2012 #78 Share Posted September 19, 2012 They actually do have gourmet burgers on the dinner menu in the MDR. Have not tried it as of yet but heard that they are pretty good! I also *heart* Guy - great shows, great recipes!!! The burgers from the grill were better than the dining room... My wife tried one thinking "gourmet"...yeah NOT.... Dry...overcooked...tasteless. I like Guy and his DDD show...would love to hang with him for some tapings...!
dmc6469 Posted September 19, 2012 #79 Share Posted September 19, 2012 Awesome! I love Guy! He now has a restaurant in my hometown in Cali but of course, it opened after I moved to Tennessee a few years ago :(
Redsfan Posted September 19, 2012 #80 Share Posted September 19, 2012 love this marketing wording. they are not free. they are included in your fare. and they are not usually eaten in addition to your "3" meals. it should read, "there is no additional charge". i'm sure carnival will be very happy making burgers instead of lobster tail or prime rib to those that want it. "for free". . think you are being a little picky with your distaste with Carnival if it's over using the word free, not included.. That being said you could be on to something with Guy being on board and them thinking up a scheme to make more money selling his "Signature Gourmet Burger"....
