Half Moon Cay -post Hurricane Irene?

So has anyone on this board been to HMC lately? Did the pirate bar survive? Noticable beach erosion?

 

Going in January and of course by then all will be back to normal for us...hoping for a warm, sunny beach day! Dealing with first signs of fall here in Ohio already. :)

I think that there was a Carnival ship there either yesterday ot today.

 

HAL won't be back in the Caribbean until October -- Zuiderdam I think is the first ship to use the island for HAL.

No HAL ships are back in the Caribbean yet.

Try on the Carnival Board to hear from cruisers there who have been to HMC recently.(There are some Carnival ships that call there all year.)

I posted a similar thread on the Ports of Call - Private Island forum hoping some Carnival cruiser would respond but nothing yet. HMC reopened September 4 so there have been at least a few ships there and home by now.
