It is kind of gross. It is not like sliced, roasted turkey, it is more like a turkey roll or pressed turkey. I had read to not order it (from my friends on here) and I didn't but my husband did, he said it isn't Thanksgiving dinner without turkey...I ordered a nice steak and he ended up doing the same...I tried it and it was very strange...so now, when I tell him not to do something, he listens to me...:D

Thanks for the heads-up. I recall reading something on these boards that the turkey in the buffet is a carver turkey, that that's the place to eat if one really wants a traditional dinner.

I was on the Imagination this past Thanksgiving and I totally agree, the turkey was gross. My kids said, Ma, this is nothing like your turkey :D.

 

Came home and had our family Thanksgiving and some real turkey!

It's really sad that the turkey dinner in the MDR is so bad. We've been on both RCCL and Princess over Thanksgiving and the traditional dinner was wonderful.

I knit myself. My daughter wanted to learn it so I learned it to teach her. It just kinda stuck.
