Dining - table for 2

Hi All,

 

We will be sailing on the Disney Fantasy in Sep 2012.

 

We are a young couple, and like to have dinner just the two of us when on holiday, as we find it more relaxing this way.

 

Can anyone tell me if you have been successful in getting a table for 2 on DCL?

Yes, can be done. If they have assigned you to a larger table then see the maitre d'it the first day and make the request.

that your table for 2 could have less than a 2-ft separation from the next table, so it might not very private, quiet or relaxing.

Also be aware that there are no actual two-top tables. The smallest size is four-top, but if they are able to honor your request they will just seat the two of you at one of those. Odds are better of getting your request honored if you are in late dining, as early dining is usually completely full.

On our Dream cruise in Sept., DH and I had a table for two at early seating. Guess we just got lucky, but it was nice. As stated above, the table is a four top, but no one was seated with us.

my wife and i took our honeymoon cruise and had a table to ourselves the whole time...just be prepared for looks of jealousy !!
