I have been on the Bar Hop bus in Cozumel. Is there a similar bar hop bus in Playa?

Not that I've ever seen, but you can D.I.Y by going on foot along the beach from the ferry pier to the Kool beach club. There are many bars along the way. A cheap taxi ride back to the ferry pier and you're done.

To bar hop in Playa del Carmen, just take a taxi to 5ht Avenue and walk. You can either go the beach route, (plenty of beach bars to stop and have a drink or some great food) or walk up and down 5th where there is no shortage of bars. It's fun day or night!! Lots of activites and great people watching!!
