I believe there is a minimum of four - definitely not three. That said, on rare occasions, I have seen these cabins available way ahead of sailing. That is usually NOT the case however. The best thing to do is book a cabin you can live with, and keep monitoring these as the cruise nears. Depending on capacity, I have seen them open up a couple months ahead of time. If you are lucky enough to snag one for three, be advised you can be moved to another cabin if they need to find a place for a larger group. We have never had this happen, but according to others on Cruise Critic it sometimes does.
