Sweetner?

Recommended Posts

If you have to have sweetner labeled "Equal", then bring your own. If you just want the generic stuff, then they have it on the ship. All of the ship's products are one brand (Nutrasweet?), but the yellow is sucralose (Spelnda), the pink is Nutrasweet (Sweet N'Low) and the blue is aspartame (Equal).

They do have the blue, pink and yellow, but they are not packaged as the name brand. We brought our own (yellow) the first time and after we tried the RCL brand we left ours in the room for the rest of the trip as theirs was quite comparable.

This is very helpful, thank you. I haven't decided if I am going to stick to my normal low carb diet or take a week off yet. I am kind of afraid of how my tummy might react to all the sugar, flour, etc. I won't go crazy anyway and will continue to use the Splenda in coffee/tea.

I use only Splenda/Sucralose due to physical intolerance with Aspartame. I've found they are sort of protective of it since I think it costs more. Always available when I ahve asked but then found that they keep it behind the counter of the beverages station in WJ and have a bowl of packets at one end where it is easy to reach. They did not mind me self serving and I was careful to only take what I knew I would use.
