Copenhagen on a Sunday?

Our ship will be stopping in Copenhagen on a sunday in July 2012. Will tourist sites, stores etc be open?

Normally the shops are open on the first and last sunday in the month but a new legislation that starts in october 2012 allows all stores to be open on all sundays but they still have to be closed om some public holidays.

You are so wonderful to answer our many questions. I like the idea of a new thread, but am worried that you will be repeating so many of your previous answers.

But i´m already doing that :), if something like taxa and train/bus prices and useful websites is located on the first page it would eliminate alot of repeating questions.

Danish Viking: I am starting my reserach for Aug 2012 and came upon your long running thread. I started reading from the last few pages and am working my way back. I very much like the idea of a new thead with updated info on taxis/trains buses etc as all these change over time.

 

I am sure I will be posting some questions to whichever thread you keep going as I will likely have questions as well. Tks for all you work in advising cruisers on how to enjoy Copenhagen...
