davethescot Posted November 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2011 I am looking at the Sun Princess cruise to NZ on 30th March and I was wondering if anybody had an indication of the demographic. I am 37 and travelling with my 30 year old partner. We are definitely not expecting a party ship at all but I did read one review that said about 80% were senior citizens, which worried me a little bit. We sailed on the Dawn Princess last year to the South Pacific and the crowd was mainly older than us but a really good mix and lovely people. Any insights would be much appreciated. Aus Traveller Posted November 15, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2011 Princess has an older group of passengers than P & O, and cruises to New Zealand also attract an older demographic than Pacific Island cruises. There will still be some other passengers in your age group, but don't expect the nightclub to be raging into the early hours of the morning. cjm66 Posted November 15, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 15, 2011 You could do a roll call survey for this specific cruise. There is one on Cruise critic and also one on Facebook. Checking out the roll call before you book is not unknown. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1422887 http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=138144966265408 Colleen
