Hotels Near Melbourne, Florida

Anyone know of a great hotel to stay at in the Melbourne, Florida area? We are driving to Fort Lauderdale and will spend the night in Melbourne then continue to Fort Lauderdale the next morning. Any suggestions would be great!

Along A1A there is a nice Crowne Plaza on the beach. Don't stay at the Rialto Hilton because it's by the little airport in a very boring part of town.

 

But you're better off to continue up to Cocoa Beach where there are many many more choices on the ocean. It's maybe a 25 minute drive up to Cocoa Beach but worth the extra time!

I'd recommend the Crowne Plaza, very nice!
