Victory San Juan Embarcation Time

We will be staying overnight the night before our 1 January Victory cruise out of San Juan. The Carnival info says the ship is ready for embarcation at I think 2:30. I think I have read on CC that people have left their luggage on board at noonish. Anyone who has taken this cruise out of San Juan know what time you can board earlier than the posted time?

We cruised on the Victory last year. We gave our luggage to the porters around 10:30 and were on board by 11:15. If you want you can then leave the ship and tour Old San Juan. You will have to be back onboard by 8:30.

First night is open seating in the MDR from 6 till 8:30. The muster will be held around 9:30 and you will sail around 10.

Be out on deck for sail away. Going past the fort, with it all lit up, is a nice view.

Happy cruising
