Where will Pride of Aloha dock in California?

The ship that arrives in San Francisco will not be the Pride of Aloha yet...It will still be the Norweigan Sky. The Sky is currently on a re-positioning cruise through the Panama Canal and will arrive in about a week in california. It will then enter a two or three week drydock in san Francisco and be transformed into the Pride of Aloha.

It's been a few years since I sailed out of San Francisco, but I think we sailed out of pier 33 or one of the adjacent piers. We were on Princess, other lines were also using the facility. You might check NCL.com's Fax Back listing to see if they have the port of SF listed.

I found the information just in case anyone else needs to know. It will use the World Cruise Center at San Pedro in LA and Pier 35 in SF.

On the coastal voyages I was referring to it actually will have been converted to Pride of Aloha. These sail after the re-do.

Are you talking about the Star? The Pride(s) will be sailing out of Hawaii. The Star, which has just left Hawaii, will be doing Alaska and then Mexico. And, yes that one leaves from the San Pedro pier.

I saw this article. It has a number of dates/facts in it. Can anyone confirm them? Arrives in SF on May 23rd? No firm date on rechristening ceremonies?

I'd sure love to take some photos of the Pride of Aloha sailing under the Golden Gate on June 7, but I won't be able to be there. Anyone else planning on snagging some photos of this cool event?

I'll be sailing on it out of SF on June 7 - it's been 18 years since I last sailed under the bridge...
We'll be taking pictures and posting them after the cruise. Stay tuned!
