Constellation 4/2-4/9

alzaco68, if your original post was an attempt at 'constructive criticism', you missed the mark by miles. I would have to charachterize your postings as an extended whine, with nothing constructive said.

You say the food was 'bad'. Well, to be constructive, tell us HOW it was bad. Was it warm, cold, poorly presented, too bland, too spicy, what? And what would you have liked to have them change?

Now, you state that you were in port whenever possible. So when did you experience the casino and shops being closed 'during much of the day'? The casino is only closed in port. Trust me, is opened every possible moment that is possible since it is a major profit center for the ship. The shops are open regular and posted hours at sea, but NEVER in port. At best, I think you are 'fudging' the facts just a little bit since your statements are inconsistent.

I could go on, but I had to comment on your statement that the ship was a 'ghost town' during the day. That is certainly pretty much accurate on port days, but of course you wouldn't have experienced that since you were on shore, remember? On sea days, there are many areas on the ship that you can go to and be alone and quiet. For those of us who have busy schedules in real life, that is a plus. But if you want activities, they are there in abundance on sea days. If you did not find any of them interesting and suggest alternatives, that is a fair criticism, but that is not what you said.

Bottom line, if you think your whining was in any way constructive, I just hope to G-d that you are never in a position to build my house.

Been on 20 cruises and 10 on celebrity.Been on all their ships and some a few times.Loved Constellation.I was in a sky suite and as usual this is nothing but a great cruise line.No you are not going to have Carnival like games at the pool.If you are looking for that Celebrity is not the cruiseline for you.86-88 degree weather, calm glass seas ,great food ,fantastic service .Loved it and booked 3 more Celebrity cruises while onboard.Yes ,as posted here Bar at the Edge of the Earth is a big nothing and we walked out all 3 nites we stopped by in a about 10 minutes.Ok ,I knew that concept from the boards was a dud but Celebrity is socked into a contract and that is that. The main showroom production and regular shows are much better as isthe friendliness and portion sizes of food since RCCL took over. This ship is run excellently by this Capt . and staff.Everything ontime and shipshape.Even AquaSpa food is excellent.I booked 3 more Celebrity cruises as I said so guess this is the cruiseline for me.I love the M class ships!Anyone who booked will not be disappointed in my opinion.
