Voyager-NOLA: port or starboard along pier?

Just curious which side is along the pier. Wondering if our cabin will look out over the terminal and city as we sail away.

Looking at the webcam yesterday, I believe the port side is to the pier. However, the ship moves away from the pier and does a 180 turn around and heads out in the opposite direction it is facing.

 

We won't be sailing out of NOLA for a couple weeks, so this is not from personal experience, but I believe from my observations, this will answer your questions.

The two times we've been on Voyager in New Orleans, the starboard side was facing the pier.

I had my sides of the ship mixed up... yes, starboard side to the pier and then a 180 out to sea...

Upriver? Pretty much no distance upriver. They move directly out from the pier, rotate 180 degrees, and start moving down the river. Even if they wanted to move upriver, they could not pass under the bridge which is very close.

Just got off Voyager on Saturday and we watched luggage being loaded from our starboard cabin. It is definitely starboard.
