Does anyone know if the slot machines on the Nieuw Amsterdam let you put in cash or do you have to get credit on your ship card to use a slot machine? I know that one cruise line new ship casino is NOT allowing you to put in cash. You have to go to the casino cage and get credit on your cruise card to use the slot machines. Boy what a way for you to go overboard on the gambling.

You can put bills into the slot machines to start, or you can charge up to $100 (at a time) to your onboard account right at the machine. You don't have to go to the cage except to finally cash out completely.
