Is a noon flight from Fort Lauderdale too early?

We will actually be on the Navigator docking in Miami. Do you think we will have time to get to FLL and make a noon flight home? Has anyone cut it this close and made it?

If it is on a weekend, it might be. We use to make flights that early and earlier.

We just recently booked a flight that leaves at 12:30 on a Tuesday and I feel comfortable with that time only because of the day.

Jen: We have not tried a 12:00 PM flight, but we had a 12:45 PM flight 3/05 off Voyager (this was a Saturday departure). We also went from Miami pier to Ft. Lauderdale for our flight. We were able to get white departure tags (early departure) and were at the airport by 9:45 AM and were checked in and waiting for our flight by 10:00 AM. We had made prior arrangements with a van service for pickup at the pier. They were waiting for us as we got off the ship.

 

You shouldn't have a problem as long as customs clears the ship in an efficient manner. Would recommend making arrangements for transportation to be waiting for you if you are not using a taxi.

Any info you can supply will help greatly. Using FLL instead of MIA is going to save me $50/pp.

Jen: We used BC's Express. You can find his web site here. It is difficult to give you a price as we had a pre cruise hotel (he provided transportation from airport to hotel; hotel to port; port to airport) stay included in our price. He is VERY knowwledgable, helpful and prompt!

 

We had a simular savings for our party flying into FLL as well. It worked out well in our case! Hope yours does as well.
