Dropping someone off at Port in Fort Lauderdale - Do you have to pay ?

No, you just pull up to security, answer their questions, with cruise docs handy if need be. Pull up to the luggage porters, hand over your luggage, say goodbye to the person who brought you, and off they go. They can't sit there for any length of time, and would have to pay to park if for whatever reason they wanted to hang around, but they can't go in the terminal with you so I don't know why anyone would hang around like that anyway.
