Atlantis - Free stuff?

What if anything can you do without charge at the Atlantis (if you just had a taxi drop you off there)

 

Can you go into the Casino?

Can you eat in the restuarants?

Can you shop in the stores?

Can you walk through the marina?

Can you see any aquarium tanks?

 

I realize the beaches and pools are off limits unless you but certain day passes - wondering about anything that may be free -

Can you go into the Casino? Yes, but no kids allowed

Can you eat in the restuarants? Yes, those that are not located on the grounds and are open for business at that time are open to the public. This is mainly those in marina village (jonny rockets, pizza, jamba juice and the deli ) You need advanced reservations for the better restaurants which are only open for dinner. Marina Village is located OUTSIDE of Atlantis near the marina.

Can you shop in the stores? Yes, you can shop til you drop. But everything is more expensive than the same shops downtown

 

Can you walk through the marina? You are not supposed to, it's not really part of the Atlantis experience, but there are no guards keeping you from going there.. some of the crew members may ask you to leave.. it's a Private marina.

 

Can you see any aquarium tanks? NO, you can no longer view the aquarium for free. It's $40 for adults/ $30 for kids

Correct, you are not allowed on the grounds AT ALL without a pass. this includes all the sea life exhibits, gardens, walkways and lagoons are all off limits.. You can no longer even look at the property from the verandas.

You are no longer allowed to wander the lobbies without a pass. when you enter.. security will "escort" you to the casino and shopping area.. everything else is off limites.

 

 

Basically, you are allowed to spend your money there and then leave. Period.
