Grand - walking deck?

Is there a deck on the Grand, besides the sports deck, that one can walk all the way around this ship? If so, what deck is it and is it covered?

Almost. The Promenade deck (deck 7) allows you to walk all the way around, but at the front you walk up to deck 8, go around the front, and walk down to deck 7 to continue.

 

If you do not like to use the stairs to complete the walk, then you can cut through the door near the forward elevators and walk over to the other side and outside again.

You can walk all the way around the Promenade deck until you get to the bow of the ship - then you go up a set of stairs on one side - then back down on the other. The stairs give you some interval training! :eek:

 

On very windy days it is difficult to walk that front part. I liked using it for exercise better than treadmills - and yes - mainly covered.

The only problem is if there are lot of smokers along the port side. Usually the wind from ship movement takes care of it.... But not always
