Hi were on the Pearl this coming May/Alaska...First time sailing on her....:)

We Love the Casinos and would like to hear from anyone whos been on the Pearl....

Hows the Casino?

Does the 3-card poker have the bonus bet?

How many Texas Holdem Tables are going during the Tournaments?

What types of Slots do they have?..Wheel of Fortune, Monopoly,Quick Hits????

Any Progressive Video Poker Machines?.....Ones that pay more than $4,000 if you hit a Royal Flush?

Hows the Casino Host?

Any Big Wins on the Slots or Tables?....

Or just any Casino Stories at all....

Thanks for any help....:D

I answered these when you posted this on the NCL forum...not sure what happened to that one, or did it get moved? Anyway:

IMO, the Pearl casino is on average with all the rest of NCL's casinos. Good size for the ship, plenty of different slots, and very nice casino staff.

As I recall, there was one Texas Hold'em tournament table, and it was not very busy on our cruise.

They have Wheel of Fortune, and machines similar to Quick Hits. No Monopoly.

Don't remember any progressive VP, and the paytables on the VP they did have were, as usual, pretty poor.

No wins for me on that cruise. DW did ok..no jackpots, but enough small wins to keep playing for the week.

  • 4 weeks later...

I was on the Pearl in Alaska about 2 years ago. There was one table used for Texas Hold'em for cash games. It tended to start after late seating. If I remember correctly, there were 2 tournaments during the cruise. They got 3 to 4 tables worth of players. All games were no limit.

Thanks for your info....I like the idea of more than one table playing during the tournamemt....

Makes the Final Payout Much Better....:D.....Last year We had 3 tables and I made the Final Table....We Split the Winnings when it was down to 4 of us.....Got like $550.00 each....Lots of people in the beginning were doing Rebuys......

I think I'm going to play alot more Texas Holdem this upcoming cruise than normal.....

CANT WAIT FOR MAY......:D
