StillPooh Posted February 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2012 As soon as our luggage hit the baggage carousel, we went and got on the taxi line. In less than 5 minutes, we had a car. It cost $19 for the 2 of us, plus $1/bag, to go to the Pan American pier. It's about a 15 minute ride. Taxi fares are set, so you needn't worry. On the way back we booked transfers through the excursion desk at $14/person. They load you up on tour buses for the trip back to SJU.
teacherman Posted February 6, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2012 On the way back, we just get in the taxi line and ask "Does anyone want to share a taxi to the airport"? We always have someone step forward and then we just split the cost.
iriemon Posted February 6, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2012 We did a Taxi from the airport to the port, very fast and efficient. On the way back we did a tour that dropped us off at the airport since our flight was late in the afternoon.
windward1989 Posted February 6, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2012 I remember my boyfriend and I took a taxi. I would say that's the quickest and simplest way. Nice tour of San Juan on the way! :)
josephsschmoe Posted February 6, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 6, 2012 Mr and Mrs Joseph S Schmoe (representing the Schmoes of Tallahasse) plan on taking a taxi with a stop at the Condado Supermax to load up and softdrinks and other stuff. What is decibel123's sailing date and what time will you be arriving at SJU? To answer your other question....the ship will be at the Pan American Pier and you will need a taxi to visit OSJ before departure. You can probably sign into a roll call for your sailing and receive further info

josephsschmoe Posted February 8, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 8, 2012 Mr and Mrs Joseph S Schmoe (representing the Schmoes of Tallahassee) would be honored to share an airport taxi with you but you may need to arrive early. The Schmoes are scheduled for travel on February 26.
