Debbie42467 Posted February 13, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2012 I want to book swimming with the dolphins at Chankanaab. The following is posted on their website: If you get to the Mexican island of Cozumel by cruise ship, verify your schedule before booking to avoid inconveniences. The Time Zone in Cozumel is CST-Central Standard Time (UTC/GMT-6 hours) during winter and CDT-Central Daylight Time during summer (UTC/GMT-5 hours). When the Dream is docked at Cozumel will we be on ship time (eastern) or island time (central standard)? Thanks, Debbie :)

CharmedMom Posted February 13, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2012 As far as I know all ports are in ship time (never island or port time).
aqusis Posted February 13, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2012 You MUST stay on ship time but if you're booking a tour with a local tour operator independently and not via the cruise line, the times are most likely local time so you'll have to compensate.
