Just got my cabin on Carnival Valor. How did I do?

I paid for a Balcony Guarantee and was just assigned to room 1023. I am way up high, near the front. It looks like the salon is on top of me and staterooms are under me.

 

Not that I can do anything about it, but just wondering what people's opinion is of my location. Hoping that it is not too loud early in the morning.

You did well. I seriously doubt the salon is going to be busy early. :D

We are booked for cabin 1030 on the Valor. We always book on the Panorama if available. If not, then we choose the highest deck. We love this. Usually very quiet. Not much traffic.
