Promenade Stateroom

MAJ

Recommended Posts

Booked 4 months ago Voyager for the April transatlantic cruise

I had wanted to book a promenade stateroom but TA was told they were already booked out

I went on to RCCL website and they did not have them available

So I still kept checking 2 weeks ago my TA tried again and still they were all booked

So this week I have been able change my inside for a promenade and pay for the exchange with a good choice of staterooms

They are now available with RCCL online

Just wondering why this would happen

Different Travel agencies/groups book blocks or lots of cabins to sell.

These cabins get pulled out of the system for a period of time.

After the booking period has ended for them, the cabins that did not get sold get put back in the system.

I am not a travel agent, but this is what I have been told so it could be wrong....
