LollyMoz Posted February 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2012 Can a Crown Grill veteran please remind me of the three types of salt they serve with their meats? I know we loved one, but they said they were not for sale (that's a mistake - they could make some money). I want to Google it to see if I can find it online elsewhere. Help, please! :o
AlaskaFan05 Posted February 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2012 Hi LollyMoz, The 3 types of salt are - Yakima, Himalayan Pink Salt and Hawaiian Black Salt. These are all available from a company called Saltworks based out of Washington. Just Google Saltworks. The DW and I got a bottle of the Yakima salt. I loved the smoky flavor. Hope that helps. Help, please! :o I was amazed at what a big deal they make about the salt. There is even a part of the menu devoted to it. To me it was fine, but not nearly worth the importance placed on it. And, I think I remember some apple-smoked salt as well..

Jeff Very helpful! Thank you so much. We loved the Hawaiian Black Salt and definitely want to get some. I was surprised that they didn't sell it on board. Thanks again! :)
trideltjenn Posted February 28, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 28, 2012 Its sold by http://www.ArtisanSalt.com, we were in the Crown Grill 6 nights last week. I wrote down the address off the back of the container. I am going to have to buy myself some of the pink salt! It was awesome!
